When it isn't suitable
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Active infection or inflammation at the injection site
- Certain neuromuscular conditions — discussed at consultation
Downtime and aftercare
Small pinpoint marks or short-lived swelling. Profhilo leaves small raised points that settle within a few hours.
- Stay upright for four hours after anti-wrinkle injections
- No make-up, sauna, facials or heavy exercise for 24 hours
- Avoid rubbing or massaging the treated area
- Contact the clinic if anything concerns you
What it cannot do
Results are temporary and vary between individuals. Injectable treatment cannot lift significant laxity, and Cheryl will say when a request would look unbalanced and offer an alternative.

Will injectables make me look done?
The approach is conservative and staged: small volumes, reviewed, and adjusted only where needed. Where a request would look obvious or unbalanced, you will be told so and offered an alternative.
Do I need a consultation first?
Yes. All Botox and anti-wrinkle treatments follow a face-to-face consultation with an aesthetic practitioner and nurse prescriber, which includes a written treatment plan.
